Istanbul-born visual artist Ulgen Semerci developed a keen interest in traditional weaving at an early age, which led her to eventually combine her love for children’s design with textural carpets. Her designs embody a colourful, magical yet familiar world to children’s eyes. Moreover, the 100% woollen handwoven rugs invite and stimulate play.
